Ahmed Hussein

A native of Pakistan is a world renown teacher of religion and Middle Eastern and European history. He came from a very wealthy family with many brothers and sisters. He decided to travel and see the world and became fascinated with how things of today were shaped so much by things from the past that he decided to study history while a young adult. He was so caught up in his passions that he never married nor had children, although he was a favourite uncle to many nieces and nephews, he had no regrets of not raising his own family.
While studying American history he stumbled across writings about a small Midwestern town where it seemed no one ever left. Knowing that all societies tend to have people come and go, it peaked his curiosity and he thought it might be a good idea to move there and do some research. Amazingly, the next day he got an offer out of the blue to work as a professor at Kensington University. In his mind, it must have been the hand of Allah guiding him. He was unaware of his mistake to even think about moving there is what caused his fate.
Today he lives on the same street as his fellow professors. While he strongly disagrees with the faiths of the two gentlemen, he cannot stand their ignorance and intolerance of his own beliefs.
It also set him on edge about how loose the women in town could be. He refused to even look a woman in her eye if she could not show self-respect and dress modestly, even by American standards. Most of his students loved the challenge of his class, even if he was a bit hard on them, but a handful of the female students constantly complained that they felt he disrespect them by his cold nature towards them and his class rules that all females must dress not showing any cleavage or anything above the knee. Ahmed stated his position that dress codes should be standard in higher education because in the real world of business they would also have to accept limitations on what they could wear. Besides, it was a distraction to the rest of the male students and would limit any sexual harassment complaints. The board agreed with him and adopted the dress code.
Ever since he took over the department, it seemed as if William Cannon had been trying to sabotage any project he took on.
