Amanda Parker

Amanda grew up in Reims where her family owned a large and very successful vineyard. Her parents sent her to a private boarding school in Switzerland where she first met Colette Gannette when they were both 12. They were happy to discover they had so much in common and even lived in the same town where they could continue to entertain each other during the holidays.

She attended a finishing school in Paris and went to a university with Colette where they became sorority sisters and vowed to watch out for each other. When Colette decided to move to America to find better opportunities with some distant relatives, she decided to follow her best friend and open a boutique in town. Finding small town life boring, she longed very much to leave town, but for some reason it seemed impossible for her to leave. To amuse herself, she loved to have flings with the married men around town. She figured if they were married, they must have their act together and if they took the bait they must not be getting what they need at home and she could do it for them.

She made the unfortunate mistake of having an affair with Keith Brecklin, husband of Colette. It ended their friendship and gave her a town reputation she could never shake.
